THE DEADLINE

Some Person live their lives as though they have a deadline to meet. The questions are:
Whose deadline are you rushing to meet up?
The deadline you made for yourself?
The one your parents made for you?
Or is it the deadline social media mentally created in you?
Or perhaps is it the deadline your friends made for you?
I remember when I was still working for imate few years back, The engineers were always given deadlines to completely repair a phone.
Now, while some engineers were able to meet up with the deadline, some were not able to meet up with the deadline.
They were all given different task, one just had to change a phone screen, while the other person was to change the power i.c of another phone.
Experience has shown so far that those changing the phone screen would meet up even before the deadlines given to them, while the other engineer changing a power i.c might take a longer time because he has to search for the correct i.c to fit in. He that is changing the phone i.c shouldn't start feeling bad because he couldn't meet up with the same deadline. The engineer changing a phone screen can comfortably meet up, in fact he can leave the office, go out, have fun for hours and still meet up with the deadline.
The main fact remains that for no reason should you compare yourself with others.
Don't use another persons life, their success or achievement as a measuring tool to set deadlines for yourself because we all are not going through the same circumstances in Life. Our Circumstances differ.
Be diligent in your assignments, put in your best, do not compare and in due time, you will enjoy the Law of sewing and reaping.

  2. Very informative and practical. People tend to use other people's achievements as a yardstick for themselves. But from this text, I've been able to deeply recognize and appreciate the importance of being hardworking without comparing yourself with others, without creating a deadline based on someone else's activities. Thanks! 👍🏾
